Pilgrim Art Glass, Cranberry Glass, Crackle Glass & More
Oddly enough, collectors who admire Phoenix-Consolidated art glass will be delighted to know that much of the Pilgrim Glass production uses the old Phoenix molds. These molds that were in use back in the 20s, 30s and 40s are very much in use today. Based in West Virginia, this company once came near extinction, but was revived to go to make exquisite crackle glass pieces, including pitchers, vases, decanters, cruets, bowls, candy jars, candleholders, ashtrays, and apothecary jars.
Later, cranberry glass was introduced, and today there are many appealing cranberry items prized by collectors. Pilgrim, today, is the largest maker of cranberry glass in the world. You'll find a nice selection of these and other Pilgrim Glass art glass items displayed in the auction listings below.
